State Bank of India has advertised for the recruitment of Clerical Jobs 2012 for two categories i.e. Special Recruitment for SC/ST/OBC and regular recruitment to be posted at the North Eastern Circle. It may be stated here that there are total vacancies of around 600 nos. for the Regular category and 65 number of vacant posts in the Special Category of this Recruitment for the Northeastern Circles. This SBI Clerical Recruitment 2012 is also valid for other states of the country and there are as many as 2435 post in rest of the states in India. The distribution of these job positions among the seven states of the North East Region are listed in the table which is given below:-
Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerical Recruitment 2012
The terms and conditions which must be fulfilled in order to be eligible for the above mentioned jobs in State Bank of India are explained below:-Educational Qualification: The qualification necessary for clerical position is a Graduate or otherwise 10+2 passed. However, if the candidate has not passed the 10+2 examination and has undergone his course of study in any other full time diploma after 10th standard is also eligible to apply. The diploma should however be of two years in duration and regular course and must have been approved by the State Board of Technical Education of the respective states. The applicants must have 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD/ XS) in 12th standard.
Salary and Emoluments: State Bank of India offers a scale of pay starting from Rs.7200-19300/-. The detailed scale of pay can be found in the downloadable bulletin attached at the bottom of this article. Allowances applicable for these job posts like DA may be different for various places and it is mentioned that the emoluments of Clerical Cadre for graduates in Metro places is around Rs. 14,177/- pm. It may vary with the place where the candidate is posted.
Examination Centres: A written test will be held in all the states for this recruitment on 18th March 2012 i.e. Sunday. As such, several examination centres has been allotted for each of the states for which recruitment will be conducted. In the North East Circle, the examination centres in the seven states of the regions are Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Silchar, Agaratala, Aizwal, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima and Shillong having Centre Codes 40-48 respectively.
